I am really grateful for the support of RMT members. Working together with thousands of trade union members we can win this campaign for a better Labour Party that fights for the interests of the working class. 

You can support my campaign for fairness and justice by

Your Union's Annual General Meeting unanimously passed the following motion:

This union welcomes and supports Jeremy Corbyn's campaign to be elected Leader of the Labour Party. We believe that with Jeremy as Leader, Labour would attract back much of the working-class support it has lost, and that his campaign enables us to show the popularity and importance of policies such as public ownership of public transport, repeal of the anti-union laws and opposition to austerity.  We further note Jeremy's longstanding support of this union, our Parliamentary Group, and our campaigns and disputes. We resolve to mobilise as much support as possible for his Leadership bid.

Whilst I would emphasize that it remains union policy not to affiliate to any political party, including the Labour Party, we are supporting Jeremy because he is campaigning against austerity and because he has always supported the RMT.  It is clearly in the interests of RMT members and society as a whole that Jeremy is successful in his campaign. Please do what you can to support him
